Horseshoes
Horseshoes function differently to other HeroQuest weapons. Instead of functioning
independantly, Horseshoes add to the natural attack score of the Unicorn. Thus
a Unicorn attacking with Platinum horseshoes rolls four Combat Die to attack.

Sockets:
Sockets work a little differently in barding. The Blacksmith can put a maximum of TWO
sockets in Body Armor, and for a horse (Unicorn) that's the Crupper. However, you cannot
socket Unicorn weapons, which are, ostensibly, the Horseshoes. Instead, the "weapon" sockets
go next to the Unicorn's horn. This is to say the "weapon" sockets go in the headpiece, or
Shaffron. Like the Body Armor, Shaffrons can hold a maximum of two sockets. The first socket
costs 1000 gold and the second socket costs 1500 gold. You MAY socket Artifacts. A
blacksmith can also remove socketed gems for 150 gold. See the Jeweler for more details.
